The FunnelWeb T7 pre filter is designed to replace the air box intake snorkel which must be removed to enable the fitment.

The open pore foam base of the pre filter simply pushes into the air box lid opening and does not require anything further to hold it in place.

This pre filter will prevent a vast majority of dust from entering the airbox without any noticeable airflow restriction and can be easily removed and replaced without tools.

The FunnelWeb Filter is a product of Infiltration Pty Ltd, an Australian company with over 40 years of experience in manufacturing off-road motorcycle foam air filters. 

The filter is designed using the latest technology of open-cell foam 3D profiling with a pyramid profile that doubles the surface area while maintaining its size. Unlike conventional foam air filters, the FunnelWeb Filter is designed to:

• Trap and hold more dust on the outside surface.
• Spread the dust build over a larger surface area to maintain optimal airflow.
• Enable longer filter service intervals. 

The foam profile:

• Provides a 100% larger surface area to trap more dust.
• Traps dust evenly over the increased outside surface area while allowing for optimum airflow for longer periods of riding. 
• Effectively reduces the frequency of filter changes and cleanings. 
• The filter seal is critical for optimal performance. 

The Seal:

Most of the genuine FunnelWeb Filter seals are injection-moulded urethane or a die-cut urethane/foam combination that will not shrink, stretch, or tear regardless of how they are treated. These seals ensure that any air entering the engine passes through the filter foam. In some cases, foam-only seals are required due to airbox design, and the FunnelWeb Filter uses die-cut polyurethane foam to do the job.
