It is very firm, upper and lower parts of the clamp are fixed with four M5 bolts. Fixed like this, it won't rotate around the bar, even on roughest roads. Upper part of the clamp has M4 threaded holes, in AMPS bolt pattern. That is the bolt pattern used on Garmin GPS cradles and many other phone mounts. Also fits the AMPS RAM ball mount.
The clamp can be mounted horizontally or vertically. This ensures that GPS or phone can be placed ideally, according to the riders preference. Several M4 bolts and washers are included with the Clamp. To offer even more versatility, we include 15 mm high "spacer" so even large GPS units, like Garmin XT, can be placed above the dash and at the proper angle, without interfering with the dash.
